Inspiring, educating, and connecting through the arts.
One of the most rewarding parts of FCPA’s mission is bringing the arts beyond the stage. Throughout the year, we are grateful to visit schools, community spaces, and partner organizations to share the magic of performance with students and families across the Upstate.

FCPA is honored to participate in the Bill and Donna Eskridge Tri-ART Series at Clemson University’s Brooks Center for the Performing Arts. This educational outreach program brings interactive performing arts experiences to students throughout the region, introducing young audiences to the magic of live performance.
Through Tri-ARTS, FCPA has shared productions including Postcards from Penelope, Peter and the Wolf, and Sleeping Beauty, providing students with opportunities to experience storytelling, music, and dance in a professional theater setting.

When Penelope the stuffed bunny is accidentally left behind at the airport, she begins an unforgettable journey around the world. Along the way, she sends postcards sharing the places she visits and the traditional dances she discovers.
Through this interactive performance, students are introduced to cultures and dance traditions from around the globe while experiencing the joy of storytelling, movement, and music. Postcards from Penelope also supports South Carolina third-grade history standards by connecting students with world cultures through the performing arts.
Presented through Tri-Arts and at schools throughout Oconee and Pickens counties, Postcards from Penelope brings an educational and engaging arts experience directly to students in our community.

Our Library Story Time program brings beloved stories to life through interactive performances that introduce students to the magic of music, dance, and storytelling. These engaging experiences help young audiences explore creativity, imagination, and the performing arts.
Held throughout Oconee and Pickens Counties, stay tuned to our website or social media for all the opportunities to join.
