Movement in the Mountains

Each year, FCPA proudly supports Foothills Dance Conservatory’s annual end-of-year production, Movement in the Mountains. This celebration of dance brings together students of all ages and levels, showcasing the dedication, creativity, and growth of dancers throughout their journey.

Through FCPA’s support, the production features a professional dance company performing alongside FDC dancers, giving students the opportunity to experience the artistry and excellence of the professional dance world firsthand. Recent guest artists have included Vaughn Newman Dance Company, Atlanta Ballet, and Charlotte Ballet.

From ballet and pointe to tap, jazz, contemporary, and more, Movement in the Mountains celebrates the many styles and stages of dance—from a dancer’s very first performance to the possibilities of a professional career.
